Assoc. Dr. Mustafa ATABEY

Dr. Atabey was born in 1983 in Kırsehir, after completing his primary and secondary education here, he graduated from Erciyes University in 2007 and started his professional life. After his compulsory service in Yerkoy district of Yozgat, he started his General Surgery specialization at Cumhuriyet University, Department of General Surgery in 2008. During his residency period, he worked as an assistant representative at his clinic and on the Assistant Commission of the Turkish Surgical Association. After his specialization, he performed his compulsory service duty in Dogubayazıt district of Agrı. During the compulsory service period, he also served as the chief physician of the same hospital. After compulsory service, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor at Cumhuriyet University, where he specialized in 2015, and served until May 2018. During his tenure, he successfully performed many firsts in Bariatric Metabolic Surgery, Laparoscopic cancer Surgery, Reflux Surgery, Laparoscopic Hernia Surgery. During this time, he participated in many Laparoscopic surgery trainings. Dr. Atabey also received Robotic Surgery training at Cleveland Clinic. Afterwards, he started to work at Medicana Sivas Hospital. Atabey was performed here with the greatest Laparoscopic magnification success.  He also worked part-time at Medicana group Bahcelievler / Istanbul Hospital. Who continued his academic activities at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine from 2019 to August 2021 Dr. Atabey was awarded the title of Associate Professor by the Interuniversity Council in May 2021. Who is married and has 1 child. Dr .Assoc. Mustafa ATABEY is currently on active duty at BAU Medical Park Goztepe and VM Medical Park Maltepe hospitals in Istanbul.
